Youth Employment Center

Established in March 2008

The Center on Assistance of Youth Employment under «Kelajak ovozi» Youth Initiatives Center, being logic continuation of the Program of Support of Winners of the Fund Forum’s Youth Projects, is directed on stimulation professional and carrier growth of young talents, providing information about opportunities of volunteer activities, internships and further employment in order to disclose the potential of young people.

Mission

Youth Employment Center assists the process of providing job places for young people and guarantees of professional preparation and employment of youth. Activity of the Center directed on development effective cooperation between employers and universities, providing graduate students with information about job vacancies, volunteer and internship opportunities.

Activity directions

• assisting in youth employment – finding a job for short or long time considering young people’s preferences (flexible schedule for students and without demand of previous work experience for graduates, support in organizing internships, practical of diploma trainings;
• professional orientation – search and determination of professional activity areas interesting for young people;
• training and consulting – assistance in composing CVs according to modern standards, determination of personal advantages of a job-seeker vital for exact profession;
• event management – organizing job fairs, open houses, career days, presentations of employers organizations, master-classes, trainings and consultations.

Coverage

Youth Employment Center is incorporated by regional offices of the YIC and covered with a common information network. Such approach allows to unify work of local services, promotes development and exchange of experience in this area. The centralized information network enables to receive and analyze the information on employment of graduates of high schools, quality of their preparation depending on regions, specialties and educational institutions.
