Purpose

«Yangi avlod» Children’s Creativity Festival

«Yangi avlod» (New generation) Children`s Creativity Festival has been held annually since 2004.

«Yangi Avlod» Children`s Creativity Festival is designed to reveal young talents, further development of their talent in musical and fine arts, support of their creative potential as well as have a successful start to the grand art while performing on the same stage with celebrities.

Participants

Children creative teams can participate in the contest as well as individual nominees aged from 6 to 14 years.

Directions

Children creative teams and individual nominees can take part in the Festival on following directions:

  • Classics (fortepiano, string, wind and percussion musical instruments);
  • Vocal (traditional, academic and pop-singing);
  • National instruments (string, percussion and stringed instruments played by plucking);
  • Dances (national, sporting, modern and ballroom dances, ballet);
  • Fine and applied arts;
  • Poetry, literature and theatre scripts.

All pieces are performed without a soundtrack, all viewings and listenings are open to public.

Contest Stages

"Yangi Avlod" Children`s Creativity Festival is held in several stages:

  • Submission of application forms for the participation. Participants present information about themselves and their works to the organizing committee of Festival;
  • Selection round. Each nominee demonstrates his/her musical program, pieces of art and poetic creativity to competent jury. Selection rounds in all cities are open to public, fans and simply to general public;
  • The final stage- is held in Tashkent. All the brightest participants of the Festival who were selected are invited for the participation to final stage, as well as to the traditional gala concert with the involvement of new stars of Festival and popular stage actors.

Winners supporting program

«Yangi Avlod» Children`s Creativity Festival

The Festival has opened new prospects for its participants and winners. Owing to the winners supporting program, latter receive grants and further support of the Foundation, particularly in their participation in international programs and festivals. For instance, “Yangi Avlod” winners became successful participants of the projects of the International Charity Foundation named after Vladimir Spivakov, International Competition of Pianists in City-di-Cantu, Italy, Festival Les Orientales in France, Evora Festival in Portugal, the International Competition for young singers of popular music «New Wave junior» in Jurmala (Russia), the International Dance Festival in San Remo (Italy), «Zpevacek» (Little Singer) National Children`s Competition of Folk Songs Performers (Czech Republic), International Children’s Song Contest “Smile of the World” (Russia) and others.

History.

In 2004 more than 300 young talents took part in Festival, 40 of them became laureates.

In 2005 more than 1000 young talents took part in Festival, 100 of them became laureates.

In 2006 4446 applications were submitted for the participation in contest, 251 of them became laureates.

In 2007 8,5 thousand applications were submitted for the participation in contest, 500 of them became laureates.

In 2008 about 16 thousand applications were submitted for the participation in Festival, 450 of them became laureates.

In 2009 about 19 thousand applications were submitted for the participation in Festival, 427 of them became laureates.

In 2010 about 23 thousand applications were submitted for the participation in Festival, 587 of them became laureates.

In 2011 about 26 thousand applications were submitted for the participation in Festival, 613 of them became laureates.
