Young talents play concert at Uspensky Music School

On January 13, Uspensky Music School hosted a concert entitled “Winter Joy” dedicated to the Year of Strong Family. Organized by the Fund Forum and Uspensky Music School, the concert featured the winners of Yangi avlod (New generation) Children’s Art Festival.

The concert presented songs authored by the young performers as well as world-famous hits in Uzbek, Russian, English, French, Arabic and even Chinese. Held in commemoration of the Year of a Strong Family, the concert brought together participants, their friends, parents, instructors and music fans. As the organizers have noted, all young talents who have participated in concerts of this kind have become one big family.

Anzhelika Hmelnitskaya, a concert participant and winner of Yangi avlod 2010 Festival:

- “Today I performed a song and dance number in the style of traditional Spanish folklore. I’m delighted that the audience enjoyed my performance and they applauded me. I want to express my thanks to the organizers of the concert where I was able to demonstrate my skills.”

Alina Davlyatova, a concert participant and winner of Yangi avlod 2007 Festival:

- “I took up singing when I was five, and at seven I emerged as a winner at Yangi avlod Festival. This victory means a lot to me as it gave me an opportunity to perform at other competitions and festivals. Today I performed the famous song Oh Darling by the Beatles. I am big fan of this group and I hope the audience will like my rendition of the song.”
