Winners of “Yangi Avlod” in Paris

On April 10, a governmental concert dedicated to the 2200 anniversary of Tashkent celebrating took place at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The concert was attended by distinguished figures of culture and arts of Uzbekistan: Abdukhoshim Ismailov with group of young musicians, Munojat Yulchieva, dance ensemble, as well as Nilyufar Muhiddinova (violin) and Tahir Askarov (piano) - winners of the «Yangi Avlod» Children's Creativity Festival, annually held by the Fund Forum.

Masterpieces of National Art through the Visitor`s Views

Show-exhibition «Masterpieces of National Art: Past and Present» has been taking place these days at the Youth Palace in Tashkent. Every day 100-500 connoisseurs of national art visit the exhibition, among them schoolchildren, students, cultural workers, guests of the capital and all those who are interested in rare exhibits and contemporary works from private collections and museums. The exposition, which will last until May 5, is now recognized as a unique event in the cultural life of the capital. Some of the visitors shared their impressions with us.

The presentation of the brand new project of the Fund Forum - show-exhibition “Masterpieces of National Arts: Past and Present” has been held in the Youth Creativity Palace in Tashkent. Among the organizers of the project, besides the Fund Forum, are UNESCO and British Council. The project, devoted to the spring holiday Navrouz and 2200 year – anniversary of Tashkent, brings together unique examples of the oriental fine and applied arts, located in private and museum collections.
