200 projects; cooperation with international organizations such as Samuel Eto`o Charitable Foundation, the National Museum of Korea, the China Association for the Advancement of International Friendship, Austrian Retirees Fund and Cristiano Ronaldo Charitable Foundation; 9 billion UZS worth of grant programs and social projects – such are the results of the Fund Forum`s activities in 2009.
On December 26, Tashkent`s Youth Creativity Palace hosted the Fund Forum`s online report conference from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to discuss the outcomes of 2009 and projects implemented, to study the opinions of art professionals and the public, as well as to map out the strategy and plans of the Fund Forum for next year. About 2000 questions were addressed during online report conference.
The online conference is a modern and effective way of rounding up yearly activities. Every year the Fund provides a report on accomplished activities through a real-time dialog with the public on www.on-line.uz website.
Those who responded to internet users` questions included representatives of the Fund Forum, culture and art figures, famous singers, prominent actors, winners of the Fund Forum`s projects and programs – all those who have contributed to the Organization`s activites in one way or another. Among such personalities are Gulnara Karimova, Akmal Nur, Halida Kamilova, Akbar Hakimov, Elmira Akhmedova, Abduvokhid Ganiyev, Abdukhoshim Ismailov, Abdulla Tangriyev, Artyom Drobyshev, Saida Amir, Umi, Kanishka, Dildora Jamalova, Murod Rajabov, Nabi Abdurakhmanov, Shakhnoza Karimbabayeva, Rustam Shamsutdinov, Yolqin Tuychiyev, Akrom Alimov, Hadicha Jafarova, Rashid Halikov, Samandar, Manzura, Zulaykho Boykhonova, Gulchekhra Ishankulova, Bobur Yuldashev, Oybek and Nigora, and others.
For users and respondents` convenience, the online conference on www.on-line.uz was divided into thematic sections indicated below:
The hall that housed the conference was equipped with 40 computers, with 3-4 participants seated at each computer to answer users` questions. Besides, the conference included discussions about 4 directions (international cooperation, culture and arts, youth, and charity) which allowed culture and arts professionals, singers, officials of international and nongovernmental organizations, young people and journalists to discuss a host of issues and talk about projects for the new year. Around 200 people participated in the conference.
As was noted by a number of project participants, the Fund Forum`s online conference allowed many creative personalities to come together, exchange opinions and discuss interesting ideas. For pop stars, it is also an excellent opportunity to converse with fans online. In sum, the participants noted that the format of the conference was unusual and that it is an extraordinary way of summing up an outgoing year. For the representatives of the Fund Forum, the conference is seen as an opportunity to learn of the opinions held by culture and art figures as well as project participants, to assess the results of accomplished work, and to determine tasks for the future.
