Contest for educators

The Fund Forum announces the start of its annual project – Pedagogical Grants Programme. Applications may be submitted from October 1 to January 1, 2012. The programme is open to teachers of secondary schools and high schools, lecturers of higher educational institutions as well as heads of higher educational institutions of all levels. Winners will be awarded prize money.

The grants are provided in three categories: teachers of general educational schools with higher education degree and at least 4 years of work experience; teachers of academic lyceums, colleges and higher educational institutions and at least 5 years of work experience; heads of higher educational institutions (directors of schools, academic lyceums, rectors, vice-rector). Winners of previous Pedagogical Grants Programmes are not eligible for participation in the contest.

Winners of the Programme will receive monthly prize money during one year. This grant will help educators develop open lessons, organize lessons with the use of interactive teaching methods, prepare modules and educational events. The grants help the winners with research efforts and to create practical aids and new textbooks.

Applicants must submit the following documents:

• completed application with a colour photo;
• copy of passport;
• copy of higher education diploma;
• copy of employment record book certified by HR Officer;
• project;
• project budget;
• project work plan.

Documents will be selected by a jury composed of independent specialists and prominent personalities based on the programme requirements and conditions.
