Call for applications: Volunteers for Art Week Style.Uz

The Fund Forum is pleased to announce volunteering opportunities to participate in Art Week Style.Uz 2010, which will take place in Tashkent from October 9 to October 14, 2010.

Volunteers will be selected in the following categories:

• Logistics Team – meet guests, assist with registration, handle organizational issues;
• Translators – accompany foreign guests, provide oral translation during conferences;
• Technical Support Group – provide assistance with event organization, backstage activity, etc.;
• Photography and Video Team;
• Press Centre – write press releases, articles on related events, monitor media, assist journalists, conduct interviews, gather information about guests, distribute press kits, etc.

The volunteering opportunities are open to young people from across Uzbekistan who are able to participate in all events to be held as part of Art Week Style.Uz and remain in Tashkent for the duration of the Week (October 9-14, 2010). Prior experience in contributing to Fund Forum events and knowledge of foreign languages would be an advantage.
