Beijing’s UIBE hosts culture festival

The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing on September 15 hosted the second International Culture Festival, with the Fund Forum doing a presentation of Uzbek culture. The organizers gave the festival the goal of creating a platform for a dialog among various cultures and broadening UIBE students’ overall knowledge.

The Festival included a series of cultural events, including a fair representing over 40 countries and regions of the world. Uzbekistan’s pavilion, designed in an Uzbek style, presented colorful national costumes, souvenirs and applied art items (suzanis, wooden boxes and ceramics). The highlight of the Uzbek pavilion was the culinary delight pilaf prepared by the chefs of Shosh Restaurant in Beijing.
